Depending on when and where you take the SAT, you can order either the Question-and-Answer Service (QAS) or the Student Answer Service (SAS). The College Board ’s SAT Question and Answer Service allows a student to have the entire SAT test booklet and their answer key mailed to their house. This service is extremely valuable because without it, the student will just get a score but will have no idea which types of questions they missed. The SAS does not have the original questions. The SAT also only provides one or the other during each test period and location.

If the SAS is available, the Question and Answer Service will not be and vice versa. The Question-and-Answer Service (QAS) is a test-disclosure service that includes a copy of the test you took with a guide that gives correct and scoring information. You also receive a report that lists the type and level of difficulty of each question , along with what your answer was, and whether it was correct, incorrect, or omitted. If you order hand score verification, you will no longer see the full My SAT Online Score Report and you will not have access to the Student Answer Service or Question-and-Answer Service (these two services are available for the SAT only, not SAT Subject Tests) for your hand scored answer sheet.

You must pay a fee for score verification.

If you used a fee waiver to pay registration fees, the score verification fee will be reduced. This service provides the test questions from the specified test you took, the correct , scoring instructions , and a form you can use to order a copy of your answer sheet. The QAS service is not available for every SAT administration.
