DMAchoice Consumer Preferences P. Members of ANA, both commercial and nonprofit organizations, are required to use our service , and other companies and nonprofits are encouraged to use it. Consumers wanting removal from pre-screened credit offers are referred directly to the credit bureaus’ opt-out service. While CatalogChoice is free, DMAChoice costs $2. You can stop catalog offers, magazine offers and other direct mail offers with three clicks of your mouse once you — and your name stays off those marketer lists for a full years! The alleged purpose of the MPS is to allow consumers to register which kinds of direct marketing mail they want, or to opt out completely.
